Questions
What format is the toolkit?
It's a 22-page A4 PDF that you download straight after buying. It reads well on a phone, and the scorecard, checklist and feedback template are designed to be printed.
Is it only for new vegans?
No. It's a great start if you're new or trying Veganuary, but long-time vegans tend to get the most from the scripts, the cuisine guides and the feedback template.
Is it written for the UK?
Yes. The advice, examples and pricing are based on UK cafés, pubs and restaurants.
Can I rely on it for food allergies?
No. Vegan is not the same as allergy-safe, and the toolkit is not allergy advice. If you have an allergy, always tell staff directly and ask about their allergen procedures.
Can I share it with friends?
The PDF is for your personal use, so please don't share the file. Do share this page with anyone you think would find it useful.
Make your next meal out a good one.
Every question you ask and every bit of friendly feedback you give makes eating out easier for the next vegan through the door.
